]]> The Gefen EXT-DP-CP-2FO DisplayPort fiber optic Extender transmitts signal up to 1000 feet (300 meters) using two strands of 50/125 um multi-mode (OM2/OM3) LC-terminated fiber optic cable. 62.5/125 um (OM1) fiber may also be used for a maximum range of up to 500 feet (150 meters).
Compared to similar copper-based solutions, optical signal transmission provides galvanic isolation and much better resistance to electromagnetic interference. Sender and Receiver modules feature cast Aluminum enclosures, providing further immunity to radiated noise.

Female connectors allow optimized lengths of DisplayPort cables to be used, preventing stress on source and display connectors. This, along with the compact size of the modules help create a clean and trouble-free installation by reducing clutter around the connector panels.

Video Support

Resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA) are supported.

]]> OPTICIS BR-500, 19” 1RU multi-mounting rack is a modular rack and systematic fiber-optic solution providing flexibility to install Opticis DisplayPort 1.2 modules up to 8 units. DPFX-250-TX, or DPFX-300-Tx is required in use.
Each power line of mounting unit is connected to the central bus power of +12VDC at 4.2A. BR-500 can be fit with the dual power supplies for load-sharing and redundant backup.

BR-500 has one separate RJ45 Port which allows the connection through LAN cable. This connection to GUI enables the access to the current power status of individual module and also allows to turn on/off the power of the device.

By using premium graded DisplayPort 1.2 copper cables, BR-500 can extend up to 3m (9.84ft) distance from the sources.

*Note: The DisplayPort modules and 2m DisplayPort copper cables are separately sold.
3m recommended cables are specified in the User Manual.
BR-500 is applicable to use with Opticis DisplayPort 1.2 fiber-optic transmitters ONLY.
