Designed to power multi-screen, video wall and LED installations, the Image2K enables seamless mixing of 4K and HD outputs, all at 60 frames per second over direct HDMI outputs.

Fully integrated with Datapath’s graphical setup wizard, the Image4K is easy to configure for different combinations of monitors, projectors, or LED controllers. Output resolution, rotation and wall layout are all easily configured using the intuitive graphical interface in a matter of minutes.

With outputs synchronized across all cards, multiple video walls and single screen displays can be powered from a single system, making the Image2K ideal for security suites, corporate office displays, retail signage or multi-video wall applications. Systems built using Datapath’s VSN or iolite 600 chassis can use up to 8 Image2K cards, giving a total of 32 HD outputs, 16 4K outputs, or a mixture of the two.

Software Drivers

Datapath’s multi-screen display driver is engineered specifically for use with Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019. The display driver unifies multiple Image2K cards to present a single desktop canvas to the Windows operating system, allowing each video wall to display hundreds of output windows with full support for picture-in-picture and overlaps. The multi-screen driver supports a maximum of 32 outputs for the Image2K (eight cards).

Display Driver Configuration Tool

Our unique graphical setup tool allows users to easily configure multiple outputs to create complex video wall layouts in a matter of minutes. The tool guides users through the setup process using a simple step-by-step wizard, enabling screen dimensions, resolution and position to be configured with ease. The built-in database of monitors contains hundreds of models from various manufacturers, allowing supported resolutions and bezel measurements to be easily configured for each monitor.

Control Software

The Image2K is fully compatible with Datapath’s WallControl 10 software, which provides users with the interface required to quickly and effectively manage content that can include video captures, IP streams and local applications. Users are able to place any input source on any part of the Video Wall using a simple drag and drop interface. Precise positioning of each piece of content can be achieved through the mouse and keyboard, or via the revolutionary template tool.

The Image4K can power up to 24 4K (or 96 HD) screens from a single system (using six Image4K cards) making it four times more powerful than the ImageDP4+.

Software Drivers

We have a highly optimised driver to run efficiently with Datapath hardware available for use with Windows 10 LTSC and Windows Server 2019. The function of the display driver is to present one large desktop to the Windows operating system. The multi-screen driver will support up to 24 screens.

WallControl 10 Software

The Image4K is fully compatible with Datapath’s WallControl 10 software which enables you to simply launch and position video and application windows to create complex wall layout configurations. WallControl 10 presents a representational window of the entire display wall showing position and size of the windows, including a live sample of all video content. With the full version, it is possible to save layouts and recall them for future use and also operate WallControl 10 on a remote PC via a network connection.

Professional AV solutions require video to be recieved from a great many different sources and locations. The ability to receive and display video directly from online resources such as CCTV networks and remote desktop applications, and then combining them with local inputs, has become a crucial part of fully functional video wall display. Datapath’s ActiveSQX PCIe plug in card is a powerful addition to systems that require a scalable hardware based decoding solution.

The ActiveSQX includes a dedicated processor capable of decoding several IP streams simultaneously via the on-board ethernet ports. Fully PCIe compatible, multiple ActiveSQX cards can be used in a single system to provide project scalability giving users more processing and more simultaneous decodes.

Datapath SQX Technologies

Datapath’s SQX technology is compatible with industry standards for video compression and streaming. The ActiveSQX allows users to decide large numbers of high definition 1080p 60 fps streams and multiple ActiveSQX cards reside in a single system to provide even more decoding capabilities. In addition, the ActiveSQX can be placed in systems alongside graphics cards and video capture cards, such as the Datapath Vision range, to provide a powerful addition to any control room environment. The Datapath VisionIO-XD2 provides two 4K capable zero-latency loop-through ports, each with alpha-blended overlay capability. When connected in series between the video source and the local monitor, the VisionIO-XD2 is capable of capturing video at full quality whilst mixing in overlay data into the live monitoring path without adding latency.

The VisionIO-XD2 offers a unique solution for the operator who needs both live video and overlay data to be displayed on a single monitor, whilst recording the stream in the background. 24/7 Operation

The VisionIO-XD2 provides a fail-safe mechanism for the loop through ports, requiring only power for video pass through to be operational. Additionally, the overlay hardware contains a timeout mechanism to prevent applications from corrupting the main video feed in the event of a software crash or other system failure.

Vision Performance Features

The VisionIO series is supported by the Datapath Vision Performance Driver.
