The SxD is a dual-link 3G/HD/SD-SDI instrument which is designed for video technology manufacturing and production applications. It has two SDI inputs, two SDI outputs and no AES input or outputs. It offers support of multiple advanced video standards up to a combined maximum data rate of 3Gbits across the two SDI links, including 422/444, YUV/RGB, 10/12 bit and SMPTE 428-9 D-Cinema/SMPTE ST 2048-2:2011 formats.

The SxD also now offers automatic link detection of single links of multi-link 3G and HD based UHD formats.

The SxA offers advanced signal generation, analysis and monitoring capabilities. There’s support for SMPTE compliance testing with over 350 different formats. An extensive array of video and audio tools includes a signal generator with moving test patterns, a high performance waveform, and ANC/VANC inspector. The SxA also offers 16 channel audio generation and metering with support for Dolby® E, Dolby® Digital and Dolby® Digital metadata and bitstream analysis.

With advanced SDI physical layer analysis (Eye & Jitter), the SxE is ideal for applications such as video technology manufacturing and live production.

The instant, RTE™ (Real-Time Eye) technology speeds physical layer testing, and delivers automated measurements and logging for key parameters such as: rise time, fall time, delta, overshoot, undershoot and cable length. The Jitter analysis instrument enables an engineer to quickly analyze the nature of jitter present using a graph of jitter versus time.

The Qx brings together all the advanced Test & Measurement tools required for transitioning to the next generation of video formats. Designed for HD/3G/6G/12-SDI and IP ST 2110/2022-7/2022-6 environments, the instrument set includes tools for rapid fault diagnosis, compliance monitoring and product development.

The Qx rasterizer offers SDI as standard. Core media analysis tools for broadcast operator HD-SDI environments include picture view, waveform analyzer, vectorscope, 32 channel audio metering and ANC status. The optional IP toolset supports payloads on native 10G SFP+ interfaces using generic IP SFPs, giving full access to be able to monitor and measure the IP traffic to SMPTE standards.

The QxL inherits all the JT-NM Tested features of the Qx with a common look and feel across both platforms. For realtime UHD IP workflows on 25G networks with video payloads up to 21Gbps, the class leading QxL provides support for 2110 and 2022-6 on generic 10G/25G SFP28 interfaces. The QxL is fully 10G/25G IP enabled as standard, with support for generation and analysis of a JT-NM TR 1001- 1:2018, ST 2110-20 (video), up to four 2110-30 (PCM) and 2110-31 (AES transport) audio and a 2110-40 ANC media flow, all with 2022-7 Seamless IP Protection Switching (SIPS) and AMWA NMOS IS-04 discovery and IS-05 device connection management.

The flexible architecture of the QxL offers in-field license upgrades for SDI-UHD/4K, 2110-UHD/4K 48-60p RGB (EUHD), PCAP, Dolby E Decode, HDR, AV test signal generation as well as engineering grade data view and ANC packet inspection tools. A factory fitted hardware option provides RTE™ realtime SDI eye and jitter analysis with the further option of a highly advanced SDI-STRESS toolset.

PHABRIX QxP Portable Waveform Monitor

PHABRIX is pleased to present its first example of a traditional ‘Waveform Monitor’ – but with a twist. Inheriting all of the class leading features and flexibility of the QxL Rasterizer the QxP features an integral 3U multitouch LCD screen and an integral V-Mount or G-Mount battery plate, integral mains PSU and 12v external DC input. You now have 12G SDI and 25G ST 2110 compliance monitoring in a portable form factor using industry standard Camera Batteries*.

With its class-leading Waveforms, the QxP is equally at home on-set in SDR or HDR Productions, Grading, Shading, or QC, MCR, Engineering and R&D environments. The user is free to use the integral screen, or plug in an external HDMI monitor and use the flexible tool layout to view up to 16 instruments simultaneously. A rich set of remote access options including NoVNC and the UI as a 2110-20 flow provides all of the ‘headless’ operational flexibility of a conventional Rasterizer.

The QxP includes SMPTE ST 2110, 2022-6 and a wide range of formats as standard. In-field upgrades are available for a rich set of options: UHD/4K, IP-MEAS, HDR, Dolby E decode, PCAP capture, EUHD and extensive AV-ANC test signal generation. Factory-fitted options provide SDI interfaces or RTE™ real-time SDI eye and jitter analysis, with an engineering grade data view and an optional, advanced SDI-STRESS toolset.

For real-time IP workflows the QxP supports simultaneous Generation and Analysis of HD/3G/UHD/EUHD 2110 payloads on generic SFP28/25 GbE interfaces, with ST 2022-7 Seamless IP Protection Switching (SIPS) and independent PTP followers on both media ports for fully-redundant media network operation – all with AMWA NMOS IS-04 and IS-05.

Whether working in HD, UHD, SDR, HDR, SDI or IP, conventional or remote production, the QxP combines the user-configurability and advanced tools required for full operational flexibility when transitioning to next generation workflows.
