The TS 01 is used when working
with disconnected pairs during telephone plant
installation and maintenance. The primary role of the TS 01 is
to assure the line
power necessary for voice terminals such as technicians’
headsets (HSA 03) or
CBA field telephones (FT 01), thus sustaining a voice link
between two or more
technicians.
TS 01 includes a ring generator capable of activating the ringer
of any CBA
telephone, such as that of a subscriber, whilst matching the TS
01 with a field
headset or field telephone provides the talk-battery line supply
functionality
typically associated only with LB type field telephones.
TS 01 is robust, practical and very shock resistant. It’s IP44
construction and
protected internal circuitry render it practically
indestructible. |
